Six games and counting since we all threw ourselves off a cliff nearly three weeks ago. A home draw and away defeat in the Champions League saw us turfed out,and in between we had the robber barons in black conspiring to ensure an unlikely victory for a pish poor Hearts side.
Offside,my arse. Meantime, kick lumps out of the guys in The Hooooops.
A Lisbon Lion,no less,is quoted as saying that when he played against Celtic it was understood that opponents could get away with that bit more. In his own words,it wasn’t until he signed for Celtic that he realised just how bloody much! I was at the game on Saturday, and saw a thug-a disgrace to his union membership-cleaning out a Celtic player and walking away afterwards.
As he has done many a time before.
He nailed Wee Frimpers as an example, played keepie-uppie with him. That was a disgraceful assault, and so too was the one on Saturday.
Fair play to Willie Collum with the straight red. Power is not a footballer,he is a thug,a bouncer,an enforcer, and he has no place in The Beautiful Game.
And then, the following day,we see a bus load of supporters on their way to Dingwall regaling our own latest superstar. Apparently he ate their dog and has slanty eyes. That is about as funny as the proverbial fart in a spacesuit, and is deeply offensive to anyone and everyone.
Par for the course though with that lot,who seem to think it’s “just a bit of bantz”
Aye,we’ve all been on the end of a bit of bantz in our time, and it isn’t pleasant. But there are laws against it now. Police Scotland need to start taking seriously videos like this, like the one at Ibrox a few months ago,and actually investigate and prosecute. No more of “no criminality”,an absolute cop out-pun intended.
It’s not just there in black and white,it’s there in full colour with a synchronised soundtrack. It is NOT “no criminality”. It is obvious criminality. And to
refuse to take it further should be a crime in itself.
You never know,if we try that we might have a Police Force we have pride in. Like I did when I was a kid.
And like I’ve not had for far too long.
