Twisty’s Aintree Competition

Hi,folks

Twisty has once again offered to sponsor and operate this year’s competition,for which I am extremely grateful. Rules are as follows

All entries to be made prior to the off on day 1. No entries after that point regardless of reason.
(Check when you’ve posted your entries that your post has appeared on the dedicated page)

2. Points allocation.

Winner = 10 points + SP
Second = 5 points
Third = 3 points

Prizes:

£100 prize money up for grabs:

£60 to overall winner
£20 to runner up

Leading player after day 2 will have £10 each way placed on their Grand National selection on day 3. Returns from that bet will be :

50% to winner
50% to SC charity

If two or more players have same points after day 2, the one with most first places will be be declared to be leading.

Additionally I will be giving £50 to the SC designated charities for the highest price winner of the week. I will also put a £30 win,£10 f/c and £10 t/c on The National with any returns to the same good causes

Hi Twisty,

I would like to participate in the competition if ok?

Due to work commitments I would probably have to submit my selections the night before or early each morning.That being the case what happens if a horse becomes a non runner?

Yes bud please enter. A non runner can be replaced up to the off. If you fail to replace a non runner, you’ll be allocated the favourite. If there are joint favourites, you’ll be allocated the lowest race card number.
