Lol Twisty 🙂 thanks for the inclusion

It’s your ball, Twisty, so your rules.
I think it’s only fair that CCE or indeed, any other regular, who missed out, is allowed to enter.
The naps page wasn’t up, very long, before 1.00 kick off, so with work commitments, time zones etc, I think it’s fair to allow late entry.
Not that it matters a damn, what I think!! 😂😂

Call me Gerry

If it’s ok, I’d like to join in next week (from -£1 obviously). If not, no worries. 👍

I was intending to join in the nap’s competition, but was a busy day at work on Saturday, and totally forgot about it. 🙈

As I knew I’d be up before 7 am for work on Saturday, I looked in here on Friday night to see if I could find the thread and maybe post a selection early, but I don’t think the thread was up yet. My own fault for not remembering to look back in again on Sat during my break at work 🙄

Cosy Corner Bhoy

Fast Attack (Like Celtic’s ! 😁) 1.15 Sandown.
Best of luck all.

It’s 3pm Sandown.

I’ll move this to the new thread when it’s up. If it’s not up by 9am we’ll just use this one. I’m guessing some folks might be going out today.

Haydock 2.40 – Free Wind

Mahe’s selection will be the favourite in the first race of the day. He did sent it to Bobby earlier but is not running.

In the event of joint favs, he will be allocated the lowest race card number

Anyone has a horse pulls out today, you have until the last race of the day to replace it. Failing to replace it will unfortunately see ya lose £1.

Our Bhoy Jim the Tim is usually sharp at spotting non runners, and if he does, he normally flags it up on the main blog.

Cmon Jim Bhoy, get yer nap in today. I’m missing your eagle eye on here, as are a number of the bhoys n Ghirls.

Morning Twisty.
Markievicz 2.33 Naas.

I’m going for Jardine’s horse;

Ravenscraig Castle in the 3-15 Haydock.

Backed it each way at 40/1, and 33/1, now 28/1. 6 places.

Its got a helluva lot on in this race but I’ve always thought it needed a course like Haydock . Rated 86 but I wouldn’t be surprised under these conditions to see it run to a mark of 90+. Hoping it gets a fast pace to follow. If it does it’ll be doing its best work at the end. Big ask, but, I also took 16/1 up to 9 places on the EW extra on 365. Hoping it’ll finish in the top 9 at least to see me make some profit. As I say though, something of a speculative attempt.

Good luck to everyone today. Let’s see if you can surpass last weeks 6 winners.

Thanks mate, for the inclusion. 👍

I’m on a back shift today, so no excuse from me for forgetting to post a selection today 😁

A Friday posting of naps link is a terrific idea, if possible. It would be great for me personally. I work most Saturday’s – early start one week, back shift the following week.

As long as I remember to log in,..🤣🤣

Twists- a furlong too much for Ravenscraig Castle

Quality winner there for a couple of bhoys:

Bobby and Jungle Gerry – well done bhoys 10/1.

Quick glance and I think the other winners so far are

St Tams with a nice 6/1

Jobo and DRM both had 11/4 shots obliging.

Quite a few still to go I see. Will check full results later tonight

Yeah – emptied inside last. Was surprised he was so close to the pace.

That was a joint kick in the haw maws.

Get Shirty would have been one you were on at Royal Ascot.

Daniel Tudhope is my favourite jockey. He owes me nothing and at the very least I owe him a pint or a right good bevvy.

Just finished and have recorded the racing and that will be a hard watch back.

William Haggis horses tend to be lightly raced horse swith a bit of class but Danny full throttle on a trier with a bit about him will always be there or there abouts.

Well done the boys who picked him.

I was on the French horse in the feature race, surprised at the price so happy with that.

As a punter you dont dwell on things.(Kinda did there.) but heading home and get my punting boots on.

Good luck to those who still have naps to run.

A thing of beauty

Evening all

What an excellent week for many of the competitors, with no less than 10 winners tipped up!!

The 10 winners’ prices ranged from a nice 11/4 ( a price landed by no less than 5 tipsters) through to a magnificent 10/1, a price which was shared by two Sentinel Celts.
In between we had 7/2 11/2 and 6/1 winners to make up the 10.

Fantastic stuff bhoys.

The honour of top tipster this week is shared by both Jungle Gerry and BMCUW. Their runner in the Newton Cup, Get Shirty, recorded a very cosy win at a handsome 10/1.

Jungle Gerry was knocking in his second winner in 2 weeks which has put him at the top of the table on a very handsome £15. First class and a very well deserved top spot.

St Tams was bang on the money too and emulates Jungle Gerry by starting off the competition with a perfect 2 from 2. Super stuff. St Tams slots into third spot just £1.50 behind Jungle Gerry.

Sandwiched between the two, 16 roads is the third runner to hit the perfect start of two winners, with his selection obliging at 7/2. That sees 16 Roads on £14.50 in 2nd spot , only £0.50p behind JG. Super consistent tipping from 16 roads.

GFTB kicked home a lovely 11/2 winner and finds himself well positioned in 5th spot in table.

Making a move from the red into the black, are

CCE , Big Packy, Jobo, DRM and McCaff. All five hit the mark with 11/4 winners and move up to fill the top ten positions. Well done to all 5. Again, excellent.

(I couldn’t see selections from Raymac, ATOB and Hashadenough. If I’ve missed them, please flag up and I’ll adjust accordingly)

Also- if I’ve erred on your total, please just shout and again, I’ll amend.

Table after week 2.

Jungle Gerry. £15.00

16 Roads. £ 14.50

St Tams. £ 13.50

BMCUW. £ 10.00

GFTB. £ 5.50

Weet WW £3.00

=BP. £2.75
=CCE. £2.75
=DRM. £2.75
=Jobo. £2.75
=McCaff. £2.75

Lefty. £1.88

Mahe. £1.00

Everyone else on minus £2

Jimmy NP, VP, ATOB, Bada, Twisty, Jim, Charlinic, Gordon, Leggy, Chalmersbhoy, BRRB, Craig, Hashadenough, Raymac, TRM, Danny M, CCB. Call me Gerry.

The Real McCoy

Thanks again Twisty 🙏🏻
Apologies once more to Bada for jinxing his selection Ouzo 🥲
It defo was unlucky in running or was the Jockey Saffie Osborne distracted by the fact she was heading to her brother’s wedding straight after the race ? Thought the fact she decided to ride was a pointer to a confident outcome. Alas 🥲
Well Done all you winners 👏👏👏
Fortunately I shared your optimism and backed some of them. Thank You all 🙏🏻
And so to next week 🐎

Yeah I heard her say she was the ring bearer at her brothers wedding. She was cutting it fine eh! Like you, when I heard her comment on it, I thought she was there for the win, and probably should have.

Call me Gerry

Well done on taking the 16/1 (9 places) on offer with 365. 👏
Those extra places pay off sometimes 😁

I backed two in the race @ 6/1 & 12/1; used my £5 free bet on the latter (also chosen as my Nap) – they came in 12th & 14th out of 17 runners 🤷‍♂️🙈🤣

Only backed two other horses on Saturday…

Skybet offered 5 places in the 4:25 Haydock.
Tacarib Bay looked decent for at least a 1st 5 finish. Bet it e/w @ 4/1 (knowing I’d get money back @ 4/5 a place). Won at 11/2 💪… though those pesky €unts at Sky do not offer best odds on extra place races 😡

Also bet Nathanael Greene in the 2:05 Haydock, e/w with Bet365 (4 places offered). Won @ 15/2. 💪

Gotta be happy with 2 winners from 4 bets 😁

Only wish I’d Napped one of those two 🤣🤣
