Here’s a look at what you could have won!
Nefarious business deals with questionable player fees involved, secret recordings emerging, footballers with side letters out with their contract,,,
no not The Rangers but we all watched this movie before.
Turns out Juventus have stolen a page out of the Ibrox clubs book and basically reenacted the Murray business strategy but got themselves caught in a much shorter timeframe.
Juve, a club I’ve very little respect for. In the the late 90’s and early 00’s they had the standout squad,,,
Zidane, David’s, Deschamp, Inzaghi, Del Piero, Buffon, Chiellini, Bonucci and I’m probably missing a few, but yet they failed to dominate the footballing landscape. The Real Madrid team of Raul, Hierro, Redondo, Roberto-Carlos, Figo, Guti etc were the dominant team in Europe.
I posit that’s due to Juve being treated different domestically by opponents who wouldn’t go toe to toe unlike other giants, and the sense of entitlement that still surrounds the club to this day.
Being the establishment club that gets all the calls and can play act with successful results can actually hold back the team, on account of almost being ahead when they take the field as Del Piero will bang in one of the dodgy around the box free kicks that’s sure to arrive if needed. If Juventus back then where a more humble club, a club of the people type of team ala Napoli, they would have won much more in my opinion.
Man United’s 99 victory over Juve is one classic example, the better team won rather than the bigger names. It raises a smile good old Keano has bullied both ‘side letter’ teams.
Another great example is their home victory over of a Martin O’Neill lead Celtic when they needed an Amoruso dive to con the ref and emerge victorious at home.
Throw in their prior cheating for which they were demoted and theyre just not an honorable club all around, I’ve very little if any respect for them, and it’s karma they scaled downwards and not upwards when moving from the Stadio Del Alpi’s 69k seats to the current 41k.
It’s karma they’ve been caught fiddling again, but the results of being caught are much different than Scotland’s original perpetrators so far.
Immediate board resignations and a 15 point deduction upon being found guilty, and the 20 players involved with side letters may serve a ban.

Maybe I haven’t seen this movie before.
Swift, decisive punishment,,and possibly more to come pending court cases.
This tale isn’t over yet.
Make no mistake, if that club could simply liquidate and hold onto it’s honours it would grab it with both hands, a movie we’ve all watched. But the remake goes differently.
Keep your eyes on this one, it looks to be night and day when held up against a certain football associations actions. Unlike Bonnie Scotland, the Italian top flight could actually survive without Juventus. Too big to fail doesn’t apply in this particular instance, long may that mindset hold sway.
From my perspective this reads like great news, there’s eyes awatching, turn over those emails, the big boss is making sure all rules are adhered to.
Clubs themselves must realize it’s cheaper to play by the rulebook and police, rather than play laissez faire then get punished, especially those who enter the European arena whose accounts get scrutinized by fresh and uncaring suits.
Ultimately, we will be able to hold up the ‘justice’ our rival received up to scrutiny, able to tangibly measure the consequences of their deliberate actions against another in the same boat.
The fact it’s strike two for Juve may or may not increase any punishment coming their way, if that does happen it’s a signal to Ibrox to play by the rule book.
You won’t read about the case similarities in the dying Scottish mainstream media, they will most likely avoid mentioning Italy’s current footballing scandal, especially with regards to side letters, but I urge you to keep an eye on this one for comparison sake.
Especially the side letters aspect.
It’s worth noting Christiano Ronaldo stated he would never sign a side letter. Why is that?
Good legal advice for starters.
If others players are held personally responsible either via a whopping backdated tax bill or a playing ban, I think we can safely say side letters shall be no more.
What will the SMSM type then?
Here’s a look at what you could have won, or nothing to see here?

Extract from BBC report-
“As for Italy, Juventus may be in the spotlight now but many are saying their plight is the tip of the iceberg. Has this case set a legal precedent? The FIGC prosecutor recently requested new evidence regarding Napoli’s transfer dealings.”
So not just the Establishment team are at it.
Italy and corruption – who’d have thought it possible?

Two seasons ago, they swapped players with Barcelona. Each was valued-on paper-at €80m,way higher than market value.
That worked out on the books as a net profit each of €60m for that season. €80m coming in for the “transfer fee” but only €20m going out each year due to amortisation. I think that might have set off a few alarm bells.

Very difficult. I would have got Sutton,St Patrick’s and Burley. At best!
Still around 10 to trap for today’s Superbru
As is often said, because it’s true, there are so many wonderful people that post on here.

Prize money of £100,but increased due to tied finishes. EVERY winner asked for their money to be donated to charity. They all have every right to be proud of that.

Walsh on VAR at Poundland, this needs to get looked at now
How many hun games has he been involved in, since VAR came in?
Saying on Sky Sports that GG has passed a medical at Urawa Red Diamonds
Good afternoon friends.
Toddling round yo K-Park for RKFC v Celtic B. It really is a must win game for my local team but Cektic B are the strong favourites.
No edit option so sorry bout the typos….
Thought someone would have mentioned today is the birthday of Johnny Thomson
Only know that myself because someone in company said anniversary of his death and I knew it was September
If anyone is looking for a gift with a difference for a Celtic supporter then have a look at LD Tee’s website. She is a regular at Celtic park. I have bought a couple of T’s from her in the past, good quality, quirky and unique stuff. Next purchase for me will be the Fenian as F**k long-sleeved T🙄

In 25 domestic match Walsh has refereed the Ibrox club six times, four at Ibrox, once at Celtic Park and one game at Hampden.
G64- hope you’re well big guy,it’s just since VAR came in,he’s never been away from their games, either ref or VAR

According to the SMSM Celtic have accepted a late bid of +£4 mill from Atalanta for GG. Seems as if the big man has a decision to make after allegedly undertaking a medical prior to potentially signing for the Japanese club Urawa. Of course, it could all be unsubstantiated BS as usual
Sevco having another ‘Charity Day’ ! 🤔
Question. Why do we have zillions of midfielders yet only 3, very soon to be 2 of which one hasn’t played a competitive game since November let alone played for Celtic, 1st team strikers? Ok the big Greek may want to leave but what was to prevent us from bringing in another striker? Shirely with all Liewell jnr alleged contacts, there must be a young decent striker (Man City) we could have taken a punt on a loan deal for?
For CCB

Dont mention the side letters if they mean private agreements not properly accounted for in breach of Art47 of UEFA FFP.
Gianina FC were found to have 6 players with them in 2013 when CFCB looked into the overdue tax payable to Greek taxman and decided that apart from having an overdue tax payable Ginnina Accounts were a breach of Art47 FFP requiring fair presentation of the private agreements.
If you want to find a reason why Res12 met so much resistance in 2013 a year after PL brought Infantino’s attention to Rangers use of ebts and side letters in May 2012 then the risk and consequences of uncovering 10 years of Art47 breaches is hard to dismiss as being a major factor.
The Tweets starting at https://twitter.com/Inmemoryofthet1/status/1618516401974824963?t=Uba10XQcTTMkdEZAfMA8kg&s=19
are worth looking at with as open a mind as possible of the position RFC put all of European football in, not just Celtic, the minute they signed De Bor with a side letter in Aug 2000.
Huns get a penalty, what a surprise.
Gollum & VAR give Sevco a pen for dubious handball 🙈
Taxi for Jim Goodwin !
4 goals in first 13 minutes of Swindon – Gillingham game. Defences on top.
Jura’s new team 0-1 up at Hertha at halftime. Back to 2nd in Bundesliga as it stands. Union Berlin’s winner in midweek was a header from a Jura left wing corner. Seems he has fitted right in immediately. A loss to us, but good to see him succeed.
How the BBC describe the hun penalty…..
It’s another one of these harsh handballs. A cross comes in, hits off Malik Tillman’s back and strikes James Brown in the arm.
Brown’s arm is out, but he had no time to react.
McCrorie, Scales and Hayes being run ragged by Hibs.
Will Hibs later Hibs it? That is the question.
Ha ha ha, Collum is doing his best. SJ now down to 10 men.
Very harsh VAR (Walsh) red card for St Johnstone’s Nicky Clarke ! 🙈
Is Walsh on var ??
We could accept these decisions for the Huns if they were punished in the same way when the Huns handball in the area, or commit a red card tackle. It’s because it never happens that we get so pissed off with them.
Collum and Walsh playing another blinder for Sevco !
SJ penalty appeal, no way will it be given. Jack gets a yellow when Clarke gets a red. Disgusting cheating.
VAR red card check for wild lunge by Jack 🤔
Quelle surprise ! VAR decision no red card 🙈
‘No red card for Jack
Willie Collum STICKS with his on-field decision. Ryan Jack stays on the pitch.
He’s a lucky man. The replay appears to show his studs catching Adam Montgomery right on the ankle’.
Just seen the Jack incident. How can Collum look at that and not give a penalty and red card?
SK Foul was in the St Johnstone box

Of course, silly me expecting the laws to be enforced fairly.
