Saturday Football Accumulator
Once more unto the breach, dear friends.
After a very poor showing last season with our Magnificent Seven-despite some very near misses-it’s once again time to try our luck at fleecing the bookies on football fixed odds.
I’m looking for seven volunteers to each post one selection from the top four leagues in both England and Scotland for games kicking off no earlier than 3pm on Saturdays, international breaks not included.
We aren’t looking for big loud prices, that’s the beauty of it. We just want winners at any price! Let the cumulative odds do the rest, and even one successful week should cover the outlay for the season.
The site will put £5 on each week, with the winnings going to our nominated charity.
Please volunteer your name below, and get ready for lift-off!
I’m in for this.
I’l give it a go.

I’m in 👍
But an idea,
Would 4 or 5 selections not give us a better chance to improve Charity Donations ?
If you got, say, 10 folk interested you could have 2 teams of 5 – a wee competition within a competition. I’m not volunteering as I’m happy enough with my POTY duties. But I do try to bet the selections each week and will donate some of any winnings….

It would, of course. We had much more success with six selections the previous season. D R M has already said that he won’t be involved for personal reasons, so we will see how it goes.

Not a problem, mate. Got to be in it to win it, and we’ve all had one leg let us down. You should have seen my L/15 today, turns out they were all in the three legged race at Blackpool.
