Suspicious minds CSC
Thick and fast indeed as a city rival becomes the host with the winner promised a trip (at least) to Hampden Park to wrap up proceedings hand over the first trophy of the season.
It shall begin at 12.30 pm on Sunday presumably to slim down the bevvy consumption, but this one, nor any going further will have away fans which leaves me scratching my head. If theres no away fans why stipulate 12.30 Sunday anymore?
As was said I would rather lose this game than either of the next two and maybe its just me but I’m happy they are about to be pushed into producing and finding the dig from somewhere. We lost our last knockout away tie emphatically, I assume it was drilled into the players that never happens again.
The team looks a little refreshed, rejuvenated, and that process is rarely quick. In saying that how I would love a Daizen or a Yang today, I guess there is space for others to snatch their potential limelight.
How do I see Martin approaching the game? On the counter for the first 20 then hopefully clawed our way on top giving them more problems than they give us, and we take it from there.
I don’t forsee any tactical tweak, our crazy team selection or a wildcard, I think he will go business as usual and select the strongest side he can and he believes in. Duran is a cert, I reckon Sam kept the keepers gloves, Trusty is a cert to partner CCV as Liam will be needed around 60mins to cover leftback. I believe Martin will opt for the Ox over Baur, experience and all that, then when Baur does come off the bench the noise doesn’t phase him. Hassan on the left, Duran on the right is the only possible switch I would sanction, but even still I would have tried it before. I think it will be Tonetki left and Hassan right with Duran through the middle, then Hogh gets started midweek as Europe might suit his game better.
The real suspicion starts and ends with the refs and VAR, overcome them and we win.
Up The Hoops!

Who do I want to lose the most? Robinson or that wee scrote McCann?
I think the scrote.😊
Penalty shootout at Rugby Park, Killie first.
Killie score 1-0
Aberdeen miss 1-0
Killie miss 1–0, shocking penalty
Aberdeen score 1-1
Killie miss 1-1, another poor penalty
Aberdeen score 1-2, panenka
C’mon the sheep.
Killie miss 1-2, worst penalty of the shootout
Aberdeen score and win 1-3
Wee Killie Willie McScrotum out 😁
The worst penalties ever
A series of abysmal penalty kicks.
Aberdeen fans on the pitch.
Pitch invasion
Celtic supporters to blame
Next home game needs complete stadium closure, only fair 🫣
Aberdeen fans pitch invasion described as exuberance by Premier. I guess the only thing that prevented a riot was the absence of balaclava clad Sevco fans.
After that disgraceful pitch invasion Aberdeen will have to play their next LC game behind closed doors and pay their opponents £100,000.
Or am I jumping the gun here?
Ave Ave
Lovely, Pep McCann and Fatboy Dodds getting punted, both back on BBC Scotland next weekend
IF that happens BADA you just remember, with some respect, that they will be experts again.
Ave Ave
Quick question
How dilapidated will Celtic Park be before the Macroom Mafia fuck off?
Sunderland miss a penalty then Arsenal score. Would you EBT believe it!
I sense some trepidation before tomorrow.
Whats the worst that can happen?
How can our players be expected to play football knowing that they’re likely to be attacked anytime without any protection from Police Scotland Sevco fans 🤔 First sign of any sectarian abuse or violence towards our players which won’t take long then MON should immediately remove our players from the park 🤔
Gordon
The Huns have always kicked fuck out of Celtic players
I’m not sure I get you
None of this gutless BR stuff ! We go out there tomorrow to win the game ✊🍀
So, on the eve of our cup quarter final I’m thinking that, assuming we go 4-3-3- which outfield players would I pick. Good to do this in advance so that I can’t then complain that “So and so were rubbish, we should have sgtrate d with….”
So, let’s be ‘avin ya!
My outfield starting 10 would be –
Donovan – CCV – Scales – Tierney
McGregor – Ox – Baur
Duran – Hogh – Hassan
So there!
p.s. – as for goalkeeper, I can see a case for either so I’m non plussed about that.
A win tomorrow will be an absolute miracle 🍀
Gordon64 –
The latest bookies odds completely sit on the fence, with both teams 6/4 to win. I’m just glad that I invested a few Gringotts a week ago when Celtic were 15/8 😉
At the very first pitch invasion we walk off the park unless we’re 2 up 🍀😎
I remember the story Calton told me many many years ago back in the day when we were at school when John Greig broke Bobby Lennox’s leg. When asked by some MSM prick when he knew his leg was broken the Buzz bomb replied “ When I saw John Greig coming at me”!
there you go!
what has changed?
MAGS
Yep, that’s the quote I remember about it too. Back in the days when I read the DR.
Site updated and all that jazz.
I’ve been busy last few days, so haven’t read much. I hope Rebus had a favourable result with his tests.
Onwards to tomorrow to ram it down the beardy wallopers throat and his pish hun team.
I won’t see the game tomorrow I’m out fishing.
HH
ASWGL you enjoy the fishing youngster
G64- I’m sure the hunfest songbook will get called out tomorrow, specially if Rat Nevin doing the game for the BBC
G64 9.37
Rodgers played 21 games against DerHun. Won 16 drew 3 and lost 2.
Pretty doggit stuff then.
Puff good to see you on 😀
The weather has been brutal of late for the fishing, but even a bad day at the fishing is better than a day at work.
How’s things with you ?
Aberdeen fans pitch invasion was really a small thing but there is precedent i.e. no fans at home game and $100,000 pay out. Let’s see how the SPFL get themselves out of this one….f…ing idiots.
CELGER
The precedent was by the SFA, not the SPFL. I don’t expect anything more than a censure or token fine. As for our punishment, I’m pretty sure we won’t be taking this one lying down. Our club apparently warned the huns, the police and the SFA that the arrangements were not up to scratch, and were ignored. Which will all be a matter of record.
Martin O’Neill — The Unbeaten
Two cup victories and a league title clincher. Not bad for an old guy who was supposed to be retired, sitting drinking coffee on the King’s Rd until somebody waved a Celtic scarf under his nose. Then came the vision Parkhead, disco lights, some noise for the bhoys. 60,000 Celtic supporters. “ The most magical place on earth “
Not even the 300 Spartans allowed to arrive at IBrokes where they’re ‘up to their knees’ in a blue and black sea of hatred and menace. A place where Celtic staff, players and supporters have been bloodied, yet somehow it is a football team, who are expected to “keep a lid” on the den of iniquity that’s right here in Sconny Botland.
Apparently that’s the modern solution, if you can’t control the problem, tell Celtic to behave better. They can’t ban Celtic, of course, the inconvenient nemesis of the original club that died there. If they could ban us, they probably would unfortunately for them, there’s a fixture list to deal with.
MON will pick his strongest side, five games in, most supporters could probably name it. Midfield has to be won and a question in most supporters minds is did we do enough to replace Arne Engels and Reo Hatate both of whom were pivotal in MON’s successes? Football should prevail and we have it, in spades.
Martin O’Neill the only Celtic manager unbeaten by Sevco.

Margaret McGill @10:11 pm,
Yip, remember that game. I was in the Celtic end right down at the Corner Flag next to the ‘Derry’.
I can still hear Buzz Bomb’s scream as that dirty bastard took a liberty.
The Flag was up for offside against us. Game was well stopped but,Greig saw it, but took a liberty/chance to lay one on Lennox.
Still we won the game 1-0 due to a cracker from Joe Craig.😁
Mags, do you remember his Mrs from school 😁

Catch any replies later.
Time for bed. Zzzz
As far as I can remember, Celtic haven’t lost a game in Scotland since our loss to Hearts last December.
We don’t give ourselves enough credit!
Killie are a very badly coached team. Their results confirm this but the constant changing of the team shows that the manager does not have a clue about how to manage his squad. The penalties they took were dreadful. Did they not practise these, given they knew there was nothing between the two teams? They had drawn a few days earlier.
While Killie are no world beaters, their squad is strong enough to be further up the league. The problem is their manager…..get rid now, or else…..
ASWGL……
Thanks for asking after my health. Last Wednesday, I had a biopsy taken which was sent for analysis. It will take at least three weeks to get results. I had a chat with the surgeon who said that there were aggressive cancer cells present in the original site but the danger is if they have spread. The biopsy should reveal that. Tough to wait, tho.
Rebus
Rebus,
Hope Celtic give you reason to smile today.
You’ll be in my thoughts, my friend 💚
HH 🍀
The wily old fox always outsmarts the bears.
B A D
You completely erased the Nancy collapse from yer mind? D Utd and Motherwell beat us after Hearts in early December.
The Huns on Jan 3rd.
Then under MoN-
Hibs in February and D Utd again in March.
We were generally guff but as you and I maintained at the time still better than the loser mentality evident in the opposition and the League was there to be won!
Blind faith some called it 😀
Morning troops.
Not fussed about today, in the grand scheme of things it’s the least important game in the next 7 days. That said, I do care about our team and as long as everyone leaves the Deathdome unscathed , then that’s a blessing.
Selection wise, I’d put out the stiffs, but that’s unlikely. So, if MON and Shaun want to win then Scales has to be ahead of Trusty, flood the midfield, play on the counter and don’t play Tounetki!!…..if not then Trusty, Murray, Ralston, McCowan,Tounetki etc…
SL
I respectively disagree with everything you said except leaving unscathed.
Strongest team available, win playing as much football as we can and are allowed to.
Ex-machina,
I was trying to make a point about the team under Martin, I just didn’t do a very good job of making that clear.
The United game was on a pitch not fit for professional sport, and the Hibs game we were denied 2 pens plus Trusty’s red was a joke.
My memory is being eroded by my lack of sleep.
