Suspicious minds CSC
Thick and fast indeed as a city rival becomes the host with the winner promised a trip (at least) to Hampden Park to wrap up proceedings hand over the first trophy of the season.
It shall begin at 12.30 pm on Sunday presumably to slim down the bevvy consumption, but this one, nor any going further will have away fans which leaves me scratching my head. If theres no away fans why stipulate 12.30 Sunday anymore?
As was said I would rather lose this game than either of the next two and maybe its just me but I’m happy they are about to be pushed into producing and finding the dig from somewhere. We lost our last knockout away tie emphatically, I assume it was drilled into the players that never happens again.
The team looks a little refreshed, rejuvenated, and that process is rarely quick. In saying that how I would love a Daizen or a Yang today, I guess there is space for others to snatch their potential limelight.
How do I see Martin approaching the game? On the counter for the first 20 then hopefully clawed our way on top giving them more problems than they give us, and we take it from there.
I don’t forsee any tactical tweak, our crazy team selection or a wildcard, I think he will go business as usual and select the strongest side he can and he believes in. Duran is a cert, I reckon Sam kept the keepers gloves, Trusty is a cert to partner CCV as Liam will be needed around 60mins to cover leftback. I believe Martin will opt for the Ox over Baur, experience and all that, then when Baur does come off the bench the noise doesn’t phase him. Hassan on the left, Duran on the right is the only possible switch I would sanction, but even still I would have tried it before. I think it will be Tonetki left and Hassan right with Duran through the middle, then Hogh gets started midweek as Europe might suit his game better.
The real suspicion starts and ends with the refs and VAR, overcome them and we win.
Up The Hoops!

Take the game as if it’s not that important? Fuck that! Never give this mob a crumb of encouragement ..NEVER!
Take their hope and ram it down their throats. Smash the fuckers into dust .. EVERY SINGLE TIME!
Aberdeen Pitch Invasion: Will Celtic Standard Apply? https://share.google/Q3EFUk9sw02sEXCiW
Good morning friends and a Big Happy Glasgow Derby Sunday to everyone who posts or lurks on this fine site.

Come-on Celtic show us your moves, in Martin we trust.
Thinking this morning about the ‘Buzz Bomb’ – Bobby Lennox, hope your well Bobby, a remarkable player with an awesome record, when he was on the pitch there was a Buzz about the place.
Bzzzzz. Bzzzzz Bzzzzz.
I reckon the majority of MON picks today will be those that have experienced Ibrox before and the new picks who have delivered.
Sinisalo
Donavon CCV Trusty Tierney/Scales a half each
Nygren McGregor Baur
Duran Hogh Hassan(surprise)
Tounekti ffs,Hassan a sub
Tounekti 🤔
BADABING
Definitely surprised by that. Hassan would have their full backs on toast.
MON, has previous for poor decisions re goalkeepers. I hope this isn’t another.
Thats blso a physically weak looking team.
Sorry guys
But our coaching staff doesn’t have a clue.
A not fully fit Tierney defensive cover is Tounekti
Jeezo
Strange decision to not start Hassan. Big field, slow defenders.
John
Have you just discovered that
Not want to see how things go before throwing the towel in?
At least Trusty isn’t there to get rag dolled by big lunk forwards. But Tounetki? Starting with 10 men.
Heres a couple of unwanted facts we hope to rectify today. Copied from BBC web.
COYBIG silence and empty the cesspit today. MIBS aside you can do this.
Why haven’t we gone public over the decisions that have gone against us and in favour of Sevco in the first 5 games of the season? We should have a double-digit lead over Sevco already but for the cheating. We should be getting very loud in our protests. Shouting our complaints from the rooftops to put pressure on the SFA, the SPFL and the referees. Instead we have said nothing publicly which doesn’t make sense. Are we running scared? Are we intimidated?
In Gerrard’s first game in charge they drew 1-1 with Aberdeen after Morelos was correctly sent off by Willie Collum. Gerrard criticised the referee and said that the cheating had been going on for years. His dishonesty is staggering. The man has some gall. No punishment was dished out to the Sevco manager.
In Brendan’s first game in charge in 2016 a Hearts player won a penalty with the most outrageous dive. He was later given a retrospective ban for simulation, but the damage was done. A late Scott Sinclair goal won the game but we could have dropped 2 points. We said nothing.
Sevco had a goal correctly disallowed for offside by VAR and Philipe Clement raged at Willie Collum. He said he didn’t want him officiating at a Sevco game again and he got his wish. No punishment was dished out to the Sevco manager.
Brendan called out Beaton when he intervened twice to give us a red card and a penalty to Hearts to help them win 2-0 and was promptly banned. The first time he criticised an official and he gets punished. He had plenty of reasons to criticise decisions during his time at Celtic.
Tony Mowbray once said, after being cheated in a game against rangers, that sometimes you just have to take it on the chin. This was not the correct response. Can you imagine Fergie or Wenger or Mourinho or Klopp or Pepe or any other top manager saying that? Not a chance. They would have had steam coming out of their ears.
Where’s Michael Nicholson? Just do your job Michael.
I think we have the better manager, the better players and the better team but tomorrow is too close to call and this is all down to the officials. What a way for any team in any sport to approach a contest knowing you will not be treated fairly.
Only in Scotland.
The old fox strikes again. All the talk before the game about Hough getting dropped, no chance.
Trusty getting dropped not, before time, this Celtic team will need to battle my bet is that they will and will win the game. COYBIG.

The singing has started already with The Billy Boys. Horrible Bassas
We get away with a clanger by Johnstone.
There showed Donovan’s issue as he is too far of opponent and allows him to come inside and shoot.
Our goalie not looking so great
Linesman at it as ball clearly out right in front of him but ignores to keep pressure on Celtic.
Scales saves Johnstone’s blushes.
Walsh ignores foul on Duran that should have been hun booking
Jesus..decision making everywhere is so poor
What an advantage the SFA have handed there team .scandal , they know they can do whatever they want with the blessing of our board . Another scandal
Good run Donovan leads to corner us
Nygren booked.
Cheating already evident from Walsh
Another free shot from the edge of the box.
MO’N f’d up team selection. Huns 1 up
Seen that coming poor from ccv .
Once again an opponent scores from central area on edge of box.
When will Celtic address the issue?
WTF Hogh clearly pulled down….YELLOW CARD WALSH
Hogh is nae Sutton
Callum has mastered the art of being in no man’s land.
Thank you Martin …couldn’t pick your Nose …
Is Tounekti the worst winger we have ever had. An empty jersey every week.
Are our centre forwards wearing slippers!
Cannae see the game. Are there any positives so far? Do we look like getting pumped, cheated, both?
We are looking clueless, very poor
AULDBHOY67
If there’s been worse, we’ve managed to forget about him. Wish Martin would forget about Tounekti.
Donavan can’t defend, ok going forward, but a defender?
The midfield non existent.
By not playing Hassan they have put Penrice on Nygren so no service to forwards.
BAUR TO DEEP AND McGregor invisible.
Callum has strange habit of going when he should stay and staying when he should go leaving him stranded and not involved.
Johnstone looks intimidated
Their defenders know Walsh allowing them to play through back of Celtic forwards
We are making this mob look like a fitba team which they are not in any fashion.
We win ball and Walsh awards a foul to his team
A blatant cheat clearly picked for this performance
We are so bad that Liam Scales was our best player that half
