No Excuses

Morning, all.

Tell you what, I hate doing match reviews after a performance like yesterday. Especially when we could all see it coming, and had done for a while. We’ve spent bloody ages on here moaning about how weak our midfield is, so the manager beefs it up with bodies. Problem is, a couple of those bodies should be nowhere near a Celtic jersey. But there they were, and here we are.

We started off a lot stronger and more aggressive than last week, forcing a few early (useless) corners and a booking for Fernandez and McInnes. But normal service was resumed, with Beaton ignoring anything in blue-including a clear second yellow when Fernandez hauled down Nygren who would have been through on goal, and a handball thankfully picked up by VAR for a second away goal. Plus all of his usual antics, including waving play on when Sterling kicked the ball straight at Duran’s head as he lay on the ground after a tackle. Walsh on VAR wasn’t going to pick that up, as he’d ignored one similar last week.

But once again, the lack of balance in the team was glaring. We were nominally three at the back, with Donovan and Tierney joining the middle men. Problem is, Donovan had no cover in front of him and CCV doesn’t have the pace to deal with a speedy winger, so the five in midfield plan was strangled at conception.

And let’s be brutally honest, the only midfielder who could hold his head high after that game was Baur. The rest stunk the place out. McGregor passed more often to blue jerseys than hooped ones, and McCowan held onto the ball just long enough to lose every challenge he faced. Tierney tried manfully down the left, and even crashed one off the bar early on, but faded badly as the game progressed. Here’s a wee Top Tip for you, Kieran. If you can’t last ninety minutes for your club, you shouldn’t be accepting international call ups. The three weeks ahead of us could be spent much more fruitfully working out a fitness regime to get you that wee bit closer to what you were. Not on a jolly jamboree abroad wi yer pals.

Anyway, the goal when it came was all too familiar. We hit the bar, they break. Ball breaks loose in the D to an unmarked player who rattles it. This time, Sinisalo saved it but they score the rebound. And it all came about because Beaton ignored a clear Kelsy handball, and we couldn’t clear our lines. Cue the sly smirk.

The interval brought Høgh on for McCowan, but it also meant Duran being stuck on the wing. And speaking of wingers,we ended up with THREE of them on the pitch. Can’t get too much of a good thing, huh? We actually gave it a good go in the last ten or fifteen minutes, but by then we were kidding ourselves on. We could have played all day and not scored. Fuxake, we could have stayed on the pitch at half time and still not scored. Might as well have done too for all the good the legendary pep talk did.

It’s been an awful week, three games that we’ve never once looked like winning. We have a mixture of good, bad and indifferent players. Some who simply are not good enough, some who just need a rub of the green, one or two whose future is well behind them. That’s not a squad that is anywhere near good enough for ANY European competition, and is struggling to cope with the domestic stuff. We are miles short of where we were only a couple of years ago, and more like a clapped out old Lada than a Honda Civic. Dreams of watching a Ferrari purr along at Celtic Park are about as likely to happen as one being parked in my driveway.

Our moustachioed heid honcho managed to shift the blame for all of last year’s problems onto our manager at the time, whose only crime was to publicly point out the paucity of quality in the squad. The usual suspects queued up to put the boot in as well, and I wonder what they are all thinking at the moment. BR complained that he was being obstructed in his efforts to improve the squad. MON has made similar, though less spectacular, claims. We have lost three games in eight days, and to sides which should never have been able to lay a glove on us. And wouldn’t, if the Plc was the least bit interested in the alleged core business of the club. We face an uphill struggle in Europe with a squad which is chronically short of quality, and are now only two points clear of the Ibrox mob.

Not because they are a good team. They aren’t. But because we have been systematically shorn of quality right across the board. And speaking of boards, it is our board who are responsible for the squad being short, but O’Neill has to take responsibility for the players he put on the pitch. As for the players themselves, they should be forced to watch the last three games a la Clockwork Orange until the very thought of performing that badly again has them screaming for mercy.

An international break has never been so welcome, words I thought I’d never say.

For everyone looking for change and I mean real change I would point out that we are currently defending champions and still top of the league. Even if we are rubbish from here on in you are looking at maybe 5-7 years of the buns winning everything before we would see any change other than shuffling the deckchairs on the Titanic. Might be worth finding something else to do unless you are very patient.

I don’t think it’ll come to that, the internet age and the demand for immediacy and also fan mobilisation means that Celtic not cutting it for three or more seasons sees the place burn down.

This isn’t the 90s,when we didn’t have a pot to piss in and when we did, we needed to spend it on building a stadium and then a team. It’s not the 00s , where a financially doped Hun kept up with us in the pretence of a fair race.

No , this is an £80m cash rich club , which was on the cusp of going up to the next level, but now regressing at a rate of knots that makes even the happiest of clappers checking for the nappy drawer.

I think it’s going to get worse, a lot worse, but I also think the end of DD will be quick, bloody and brutal.

*SENTINEL CELTS PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2026-27*
*RESULTS FROM GAME #12 CELTIC 0 SEVCO 1*

Good evening, friends.

Probably the most welcome International Break that I can remember as I really am totally scunnered with our last 4½ hours of football.

The team lines suggested we were to move away from the usual 433 but does anyone know what system we actually replaced it with. Cos I don’t think the players did! A bit of urgency in the opening exchanges and Duran was certainly annoying their central defenders and showing a bit of fight. But that gradually fizzled out and when we fell behind on the half hour mark any remaining confidence was visibly drained from most of our players.

So in my own opinion the current management and coaching staff are not up to the job and we need a change that will really reignite the place and play a style of football that will get the fans back on board. We know we can’t change the playing squad until January but we can surely get more out of the ones we have.

Celtic have now played 12 games, winning 8 and losing 4. We have scored 23 and conceded 15. We remain top of the SPL by 2 points.

My sincere thanks to the 78 who submitted their nominations for this one (a few voters only nominated 1 or 2 players). Hopefully our play will improve after the break leading to increased voting numbers.

The total votes cast for each player (with my own nominations asterisked) are as follows –

Sinisalo: 3
Carter-Vickers*: 38
Trusty: 1
Scales: 5
Donovan: 69
McCowan: 0
McGregor: 1
Baur*: 71
Tierney: 20
Nygren: 0
Duran*: 10
Høgh: 0
Forrest: 5
Hassan: 2
Tounekti: 0
Mheuka: 0
Unused subs: Johnstone, Murray, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ralston

And so, the POINTS earned by each player for the game against Triggers Broom FC are as follows –
25 – Baur
22 – Donovan
19 – Carter-Vickers
16 – Tierney
14 – Duran
12 each – Forrest and Scales
10 – Sinisalo
9 – Hassan
8 – McGregor and Trusty
4 each – Høgh, McCowan, Mheuka, Nygren and Tounekti
1 each – Johnstone, Murray, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ralston

And the CUMULATIVE POINTS after 12 games played are as follows –
197 – Donovan
187 – Duran
156 – Baur
137 – McGregor
134 – Nygren
131 – Carter-Vickers and Tierney
115 – Hassan
114 – Scales
108 – Yang
101 – Forrest and Sinisalo
81 – Høgh and Tounekti
74 – Trusty
63 – Oxlade-Chamberlain
38 – McCowan
36 – Murray
30 – Engels
27 – Johnstone and Mheuka
18 – Hatate and Sørensen
17 – Johnston
13 – Osmand and Ralston
7 – Doohan and Lotomba
3 – Kenny
2 – Balikwisha and Van den Berg
1 – Kennedy

We now take a breather for a while as it’s a longer than usual International Break. Celtic next take to the field on Sunday 11th October when we travel to Motherwell, kick off 12.00pm. So just the 20 more sleeps to wait….
Hail Hail!

Would you agree that a widespread refusal to renew season books is the measure most likely to result in effective change?

Ex Machina
September 22, 2026 8:17 am

I think we should be careful what we wish for.
And before I get shouted down as some sort of Board supporting lackey, remember this is merely a blog to air general concerns. Existential ones!

Widespread season ticket refusal – let’s say a 30% reduction in season ticket income, a hardcore remain, say 35,000 tickets sold?
Matchday income per the accounts is currently around £60m.
Revenues will drop by a minimum c £20m. Possibly matching the same level as operating expenses or falling behind. These are currently £117m. This figure will reduce I guess as inevitable cutbacks bite.

In simple terms:
Cue massive drop in squad quality( from today’s mediocrity), the famed cash pile replenishing lost cash flow.
DD and family double down out of spite or because they don’t care.
3/4 years of this would barely see us solvent.
Certainly see us as an European irrelevance.
Domestically who knows as we lurch into NI/ League of Ireland territory in quality terms.

There is no guarantee a boycott would remove a billionaire whose financial interest in the club is comparative chump change. Status and ego are at stake not money.

But the damage done could be catastrophic.
The change would certainly be effective.
Gradual then suddenly.

Ex Machina
September 22, 2026 8:33 am

I should have added £40m of revenues is UEFA/ broadcast income. 85/90% UEFA participation driven.

We will see in the year end accounts ( ‘26 ) how much impact losing out to Kairat will have on revenues.

ECL participation when it comes will have no material impact.

McCaff
September 22, 2026 8:52 am

Ernie…I would much prefer a Board Epiphany where understanding and realisation that we are never gonna be what they think we are as long as they continue on their current path. There will never be a mass ST boycott for the reasons I laid out yesterday. Too many people have been doing it too long, people wait for years to get one so won’t give it up, the social aspect so easily sniped at is probably the greatest reason people go.
Once you snipers realise that, alternative methods of protest will make more sense to you.
The Trust, CSL, Haughey, the Collective all know you’re never gonna stop people going and are trying to effect change by different means.
That’s the reality.

Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues
September 22, 2026 8:54 am

@Ex Machina – September 22, 2026 8:33 am

The lion share of our operating expenses was made up by staff costs (£75m of the £117m figure), but those will have already fallen substantially from FY25.

Per the annual report, ‘Labour costs saw an increase of £9.2m (14.0%) which was driven by investment in the Men’s First Team, an increase in performance related bonuses and general wage cost inflation across the business.’

In season 24/25 we competed in the CL, winning 3 of 8 group games (drawing in a further 3) and reached the knockout round for the first time since Lenny back in 12/13. Players’ contracts are heavily incentivised, so it’s no surprise that we saw such an increase in staff costs. However, those increased costs are completely manageable, as they were in the context of EBITA increasing by 15%.

Given that we failed to qualify for the CL, you can expect the slate to be wiped clean re the chunky bonuses. Additionally, MoN/WN’s wages combined will be unlikely to come close to what we paid BR. To top it off, MoN spoke this summer about the Club having reduced the wage bill over the transfer window.

Re DD doubling down – he’s not the majority owner. If he were to act out of spite, maybe out NEDs/executives would be forced to find their backbone and experience their independent judgement in the best interests of the Company/shareholders, and not the demands of a single individual.

McCaff
September 22, 2026 9:03 am

Tom Thumb…DD is the de facto owner, I’m convinced! Who he has proxied shares to I don’t know but there is simply no other explanation for the deference and forelock tugging he has enjoyed from our Executive for so long. My shout is Lindsell Train but there is no available evidence.

Ex Machina
September 22, 2026 9:09 am

JLTTB

Yip, the ‘26 figures will be revealing, operating expenses should reduce.

As will revenues from UEFA/ broadcasting which made up 28% of the total.

The point being going to war with DD and family, acting as de facto owners, may well be attritional.

We have seen no evidence so far of the Board acting independently of DD’s wishes.
Your “ maybe” they will act is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Ex Machina
September 22, 2026 9:24 am

Operating expenses have an irreducible minimum.
We need to pay people, play games, maintain assets etc.

If we have no European income to speak of and the broadcast/Uefa revenue pillar sits at c£10m tops, a significant boycott on matchday, coupled with the presumption merchandise will also be hit will take us back to sub £100m.

The quality on the pitch will be significantly impacted.

Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues
September 22, 2026 9:33 am

@McCaff – September 22, 2026 9:03 am

Lindsell are a passive investor here – they’re not actively engaged in management or running of the Club (via a Board appointee), nor do they send along one of their own to the AGMs. I read elsewhere that they’ve appointed a proxy with instructions to vote with the Board; I wouldn’t read into that as a sign of anything more than the passive nature of their investment (as opposed to an unequivocal approval of Management’s decision making).

Lindsell made it clear (in 2018) that their investment in Celtic was a bet on our media rights exploding in the future – see below extract (bold sections added for reference).

You’ll notice how passive the tone is here. There is no active engagement with the Club or inference of ongoing dialogue, advice being sought / input being provided.

DD has such a foothold due to the other NEDs failing in their fiduciary duties; many have served on the Board for too long to be independent/have developed friendly relations with DD and/or they are acting in complete self-interest – the role is a sinecure and position they would not otherwise have attained but for our lack of good corporate governance.

Re Lindsell on Celtic investment

“Celtic has that same position in Scotland – a very narrow, niche market where the media revenues are tiny,” Lindsell said.

“But there is a diaspora of potential Celtic supporters from Scottish catholics around the world that follow the club vicariously,” he said. “If ever Celtic were to tap into that supporter base more, or could morph their media rights from just the Scottish Premiership into something bigger, then the revenues of the company could double or triple very quickly.”

While there is nothing to suggest that the club will materially change in the short term, it is now run by businessmen who will likely monetise the club more successfully moving forward, he added.

“So nothing much is going to change with Celtic in terms of the revenues it earns today if it doesn’t change its league structure – and there are no prospects of it doing so as far as I can see,” he said.

“But I wouldn’t be surprised if the agenda from the owners over the very long term is to get things changed. If that was ever a likely event the value of the franchise would be enormous.”

Tom Thumb…conspiracy theory territory here but there’s nothing to stop DD using LT as a proxy and making an annual payment to their account every year to maintain the appearance of Financial Compliance. Whatever is going on with DD and his control of the Club is definitely a grey area. We are a sleeping giant, as Lindsell points out in his interview, so why are they voting with DD to keep the status quo, and annual small potato premiums when they could benefit from a more expansive approach!

Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues
September 22, 2026 9:58 am

@Ex Machina

I don’t think solvency is a concern here at all (whether or not there is a boycott).

Presently the NEDs/executives are not doing the right thing set against the backdrop of having a near monopoly position. It’s easier to lower expectations than it is to try and raise standards, so they’ve aimed to promote a narrative that European ambitions (regardless of even modest ones, such as having a better record than success in 2/10 CL qualifying routes) are delusional and/or unachievable, and instead focus exclusively on a domestic record which any competent management team would achieve (we’re the biggest Club in Scotland by every metric, with only a single other club – not even 10 years in the top division – anywhere near close).

Now, if that monopoly were to disappear (and clearly it does appear to be cracking), then they no longer have that anchor to which they can claim success/nod along with the decision making by reference to these achievements.

To me their actions are dictated by reference to Celtic being a sinecure, but that only continues for so long as we hold the monopoly position and attain continued (low hanging) domestic success. As evidenced from the recent past – the embarrassing loss in 2016 ushered in the hiring of BR and beginning of our ‘generation of domination’; PL and NL’s embarrassing performance to blow TIAR ushered in changes – if Ange had not been such a success, I think we would have seen further changes being mandated, but the Board got lucky there.

I do not believe that the directors could (or would) sit idly by and let DD (whom I don’t believe would let things implode to this degree either) intentionally sink the ship.

In any event, DD is an old man, and when his time comes Ross Desmond will not be able to replicate the control and sway that his father has enjoyed. One way or another, change will come at that point.

@ McCaff – September 22, 2026 9:56 am

Yeah, you’ve gone off the deep end there!

I don’t believe there are any financial irregularities at play. DD’s control is by virtue of directors acting in their own interests, as opposed to exercising independent judgement – could MN get a near £900k pay packet from any other employer? Allison and Wilson have spent decades on the Board, latterly picking up £50k p/a while getting to wear the blazer and enjoy all expenses paid benefits – that sinecure is based upon towing the party line.

‘We are a sleeping giant, as Lindsell points out in his interview, so why are they voting with DD to keep the status quo, and annual small potato premiums when they could benefit from a more expansive approach‘

The answer is simple – they made a speculative investment in the company based on the potential that our revenue may double/triple from a future change in media rights income. Everything else will be white noise to them.

Ex Machina

I agree, Solvency isn’t really the issue. It’s the impact an attritional war would have on the structural advantages we have now.
These would erode quickly, particularly if the Yanks at Ibrox scent blood, and actually start winning things domestically.
And preparing properly for Europe which we constantly fail to do.
We are already failing in Euro terms and the decline is quite stark.
We are ahead in Scotland because of the abject nature of the opposition to date.
Lose this league and there is the possibility of the Huns achieving CL status, an opportunity we have declined.

The way I’m looking at it they could be on their way to increased benefits/premiums if they voted against DD. Our de facto owner and his bloc votes are holding back the Company’s development. Again, as Lindsell almost alludes to in his interview, LT’s investment and Lindsell’s comments are almost a contradiction – hold on to the shares and hope for future expansion whilst voting with an extremely conservative shareholding bloc. To any casual observer, Celtic are in Crisis. To any Celtic fan, Crisis is our perpetual state of being. Sometimes we manage it well, other times we don’t.

The coming week will confirm which it is to be.

However , what I will say is that in 5 out of the last 6 decades we’ve been the most successful team in Scotland in those years, and even if we don’t win a trophy for the next 3 seasons, we’ll almost certainly be the most successful team in this decade.

So , unless you’re an 80 yr old fan, you’ve never seen a dominant Huns side for any length of time, and even then it was financially doped.

We’ll come good, but in the meantime, might be best we buckle ourselves in for the ride.

Billy Bhoy
September 22, 2026 11:24 am

I’ve been following today’s discussion with great interest. Lots of thoughtful discussion on both sides.

For me, it’s deliberate managed decline. We should be miles clear of TRFC by now. If not for the Covid season we’d be going for 16 in a row. Try selling a ST for that on either side of the city.

Yet, despite this, last season we had a 3 horse race and with FOUR minutes of the season remaining we were runners up.

This season looks like a repeat and who here is confident that we’ll be top of the pile come May?

I’m firmly in the NAPM mindset and I’m doing this unilaterally. I appreciate others saying its pointless and will possibly lead to downsizing but I’m of the view that it might encourage a change of direction and a “speculate to accumulate” mindset. The only alternative to that is the slow stagnation we’re currently witnessing.

Surely every single Board member is now squirming in their heated leather seats at the events of the last week? Perhaps it may prove to be even too much for them to try and ignore. The next few weeks could be very interesting!

”come good” in Europe.

Being successful in Scotland ain’t what it used to be. ‘60’s, ‘70’s, ‘80’s it truly meant something.
‘90’s, ‘00’s the occasional success maintained the impression of relevance. ‘10’s onwards failure writ large. Laughing stock territory beckons.
The chance to come good was declined, perhaps
forever.

“come good” at home.

As kingpins of a third/fourth tier league?
Where our biggest domestic opponents fail to register at even ECL level and we enter the EL by default.

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that our standing, where it matters, will come good.

Wishful thinking without a serious change of direction.

McCaff,

Lindsell Train are an investment company, they are in it for the long term, they are nobodies placemen. They invest in many different companies ones that look safe as they watch their investment grow in the long term. Why would they trust DD when they have their own people that they have trusted since 2000? They have an investment model that they stick too. DDs name doesn’t show in any of their investors lists probably because he isn’t a shareholder and because he too would trust his own judgement. Think your looking for squirrels that don’t exist.

I’ve read a lot of drivel on here DD this and the board that, but not one person has any experience of running a plc. nor have they put up any real alternative to that plc. one that would keep Celtic FC safe, that surely must be the first consideration of any Celtic supporter.
Even Haughey was once on Fergus’s board but resigned over the treatment of Tommy Burns, I admired him greatly for that but nothing real, since. There are many things that this board have done badly including the nepotism which was disgraceful along with the 5Way Agreement that made me walk away and their grubby money grabbing fingers that are so despicable. So unless someone can come up with a decent plan then we are Donald Ducked. Also the Neds need to be time limited.

Me? I would love to see a really good director of fitbaw with complete control over the football department with a seat on the board and a fans representative on the board one who can argue for the support unconditionally. I think that both of these are achievable.

I want to acknowledge Brendan’s contribution across his two spells as Manager, during which he helped deliver success that forms part of the club’s modern history. However, I must also express my deep disappointment at the way the past several months have unfolded.

When we brought Brendan back to Celtic two years ago, it was done with complete trust and belief in his ability to lead the club into a new era of sustained success. Unfortunately, his conduct and communication in recent months have not reflected that trust.

In June, both Michael Nicholson and I expressed to Brendan that we were keen to offer him a contract extension, to reaffirm the club’s full backing and long-term commitment to him. He said he would need to think about it and revert. Yet in subsequent press conferences, Brendan implied that the club had made no commitment to offer him a contract. That was simply untrue.

We met with Brendan regularly, including in December last year and at the start of the summer, with regular dialogue in between, to discuss and agree our collective strategy, priorities, and approach. Every player signed and every player sold during his tenure was done so with Brendan’s full knowledge, approval, and endorsement. Any insinuation otherwise is absolutely false.

His later public statements about transfers and club operations came entirely out of the blue. At no point prior to those remarks had he raised any such concerns with me, Michael, or any member of the Board or executive team. In reality, he was given final say over all football matters and was consistently backed in the recruitment process — including record investment in players he personally identified and approved.

When his comments were made publicly, I sought to address them directly. Brendan and I met for over three hours at his home in Scotland to discuss the issue. Despite ample opportunity, he was unable to identify a single instance where the club had obstructed or failed to support him. The facts did not match his public narrative.

Regrettably, his words and actions since then have been divisive, misleading, and self-serving. They have contributed to a toxic atmosphere around the club and fuelled hostility towards members of the executive team and the Board. Some of the abuse directed at them, and at their families, has been entirely unwarranted and unacceptable.

Every member of the Board and executive team is deeply passionate about Celtic and acts at all times with professionalism, integrity, and a shared desire for success. What has failed recently was not due to our structure or model, but to one individual’s desire for self-preservation at the expense of others.

Celtic’s structure — where the manager oversees football, the Chief Executive manages operations, and the Board provides oversight — has served the club with great success for more than two decades. We all share the same ambition: to ensure Celtic’s continued success domestically and to achieve further progress in Europe. Every pound generated by the club is reinvested towards those goals and the continuous improvement of Celtic Football Club.

Celtic is greater than any one person. Our focus now is on restoring harmony, strengthening the squad, and continuing to build a club worthy of its values, traditions, and supporters.

Dermot Desmond

So what is Graham Spiers saying?

That the recruitment policy as stated above has changed under Martin O’Neill? If so why when it has “served us so well” ?

Or

That the recruitment policy hasn’t changed and that Dermot Desmond is a bare faced liar and in cahoots with Michael Nicholson. The only difference being that Marin O Neill isn’t agitating publicly compared to Brendan ?

Or .and.

Brendan had already made up his mind to go and didn’t want to defecate on Michael Nicholson so kept his counsel during this meeting ?

Or

Something else ?

One thing is for sure Graham Spiers is a poor excuse for a journalist

Good morning all

Hope all well. Not been on in ages. Other matters to attend to.

This season is threatening to be a tipping point in Celtic’s history- last season’s had the same threat but somehow Celtic struggled through- and whilst the late 80s and early 90s are periods of my life I look back on with a strange affection – supporting my team through adversity was character building I suppose, I would not wish a repeat. This, the present day, is different to the 1990s however, as it appears Celtic plc has almost intentionally manufactured Celtic’s downfall.

I’m not sure that there has been any grand strategy at play here because that gives credit to people who just do not seem to be capable of strategic thought and I cannot believe that Desmond’s grand plan has been to take Celtic back to 1990- a calendar year in which Celtic won 9 league matches. Reverting to that does now seem to be a distinct possibility alas, as the team now is that bad whilst off the field Celtic has a manager who cannot be happy being the manager , a coaching staff that doesn’t coach, an academy set up that is neglected and a scouting system that seems interested only in bringing wingers to the club. Looked at from my flat in G20 the Celtic executives seem to have no plans to generate income beyond flogging tat to supporters and maintaining a high bank balance. At least under Lawwell there was some sense that Celtic was being ‘managed’ but since Dominic McKay was sacked 5 years ago Celtic plc has just seemed to be drifting.

I’d love to say that I think there is a solution but I do not see one. No credible alternative to what is there at the moment is visible- this is not like 1990 when Brian Dempsey seemed to be a white knight and from 1992 other names had begun to stick their oars in and they did have money. Don’t renew season tickets? Unless Celtic goes next summer from having 52000 plus a 10000 on a waiting list to having 520 season ticket holder and no waiting list it won’t work. And it won’t happen- the more likely scenario seems to be a drift away so that by 2031 (when I ‘ll be 70) Celtic has 25000 season ticket holders would be the equivalent of Death by a thousand cuts.

Maybe the Bolsheviks were right after all.

Looks as if it will be another day wasted, when we could have had a new manager and coaching team in.

Just when you thought the guy on the other channel couldn’t go any lower.
It’s went from Brendans fault to the fans fault.

@12-40St Tams
Don’t hold your breath.
Celtic PLC has no interest in Celtic fc.
Even after the luck in winning the title last season no recognition was gained.
Another poor transfer window with profit was served up.
The needs(money) of Celtic PLC were satisfied the needs of Celtic FC were not considered.
If share price went down Celtic PLC dropped they would act but Celtic fc declined they would shrug and accept they know best.
The outdated coaches will suffice
