Celtic 0 – 2 Rangers
It falls to me by habit and default to give you all a review of every match we play. Fuxake,I could do with a break from it after Saturday. What am I supposed to say?
Well,I could say and will, that Friday’s article was more about wishful thinking than what I really felt. I looked at the bookies prices and was desperate to take the 7/4 up to 2/1 on offer, but it’s a thing I cannot do. Even if I had done,I wouldn’t feel any better.
There was one player on that pitch who approached a pass mark, and it was Kris Ajer. And he only achieved it because he was covering for the rookie on the right, when Kris was meant to be on the left. Our defence was all over the place, our lone striker was searching deeper to get the ball than probably the ballboys, and our midfield were frankly an embarrassment
I’m not picking any one out here. I never would, because that would be the dreadful scapegoating. That’s not for me,never has been.
Barkas wasn’t asked to do much. And he didn’t.
Our back three,I’m of a mind to give a pass because we really only had a back two.
Our front line,is it one or two? And if we reckon Klimala is a Brattbakk play on the shoulder type, why does he come back to the 30 yard line to try to be involved? Where’s the outball,ya prick?
Frimpers,I saw his debut a year ago. If he played like that then,we would never have heard of him again. He was so bad that the huns barely bothered fouling him. Ntcham? Dunno and don’t want to go there. Mo? Fuxake, take yer money and fuck off.
Saturday was the most embarrassing display of football I’ve ever seen. At least when we were pish in the 90s it was because, erm,we were pish.
That’s four games out of the last five that they’ve outplayed us,even if we’ve got lucky with the odd result. I’m thinking we have to consider the common dominator here.
They’ve done us since Brendan Rodgers left. Let’s not fool ourselves. Neil Lennon is not currently up to the job. Either he gets his finger out of his arse or he admits it. Lawwell will never fire him,as that would be an admission of failure.
Well, there’s failures everywhere at Celtic Park. And as ever,it is from the top down. Saturday was a long time in gestation but few of us were surprised.
