Treble dreams
It’s funny how things workout sometimes, in life and in football. I’ll throw some examples out there.
Many of us would have wanted Sinisalo for the Cups,,Brendan didn’t agree and I understand opting for continuity but now the Cup change has been forced upon him.
Goals,,many of us feared a drop off after losing our number one striker but as it turns out but we’ve just scored 9 in two games, and with lower league opposition today there’s a proper chance of a another high scoring game,,,as soon as we get shot of Kyogo our goals per game average increases?
Greg being tempted by Zagreb,,who woulda thunk it? It’s not as if they were sitting around thinking we could really do with a Scottish left back, and the player himself will be exposed by a lack of height, technique, and pace in a nation that produces quality players, a highly scouted nation that produces so many players I’m wondering why recruit from outside? Still, I’m reminded of telling my dad I was moving to New Zealand and he replied there’s nothing out there, how wrong he was as I had the best year of my life showing one man’s spurred opportunity is another’s heaven. I hope he does go to be honest,,it’s a beautiful place and he will learn, and I personally like the idea of Schlupp and KT taking over the position. As Schlupp will be on a free, we’ve managed a try before you buy, if you wish. But his high wages will be an issue, we won’t have both left backs on top whack, or will we because he’s free? I’m hoping he puts the club into that position, starting properly from today.
Throw in Scales, Ralston, and Murray that’s a completely new back five! I’m not expecting that though, Trusty and Scales would get the nod, Murray given the entire second half if the games wrapped up please gaffer.
We need a good look at him, everyone wants a new youth product breaking through.
In the middle it would be normal gking on sensible to leave out some Bayern starters. But I get the feeling Engels is growing better, more accustomed with every passing minute, and I’ve seen dropping Reo have an effect before, yet the game is made for Luke. Callum will want to Captain the side in every round until hopefully lifting the actual Cup. Brendan doesn’t do himself favour’s with regard to budget when his try before you buy midfield signing Bernardo can’t nail down a first team place but look like a player who needs consistent gametime to progress. Its a tough one,,if I were King I would select Reo, Engels, Bernardo.
In attack everyone assumes Maeda starts on the left given the circumstances but I’m not convinced benching Jota or Kuhn for that matter benefits the player. Keeping those two on the pitch for a half also allows Kenny to start as there’s still goals in the attack. Idah doesn’t need to play the whole game, but I reckon if given minutes he will have a serious appetite to score more than Kyogo, hit 20 or so, just to make a statement he’s the top dog.
Lower league opposition in an early enough Cup tie equals something a bit different, a tinge of mystery, and of course the chance to impress not just the Parkhead faithful but the manager. One might opine a stern test before the sternest of tests is good preparation, but I’m in the take it easy camp. As long as they don’t go out to leave their mark on players, I’m happy with what should be another high scoring home win with all five subs used. Then it’s just a case of repeating it on Wednesday.

SL I agree with taking advice from managers. Can I ask you if you think our scouting network is up to standard?
It came out today. we had 2 months to find a Kyogo replacement.
2 months to identify, make enquiries & see if a deal could have been achieved.
Now, the scouting may have identified the play, but the negotiations broke down.
Either way, the club failed in its pursuit of targets A or B. Therefore, the structure failed.
As BR stated, we are lighter coming out the window than when we went in.
This is an out and out lie. We have an extra 8/ 10 million in an already inflated bank account.
And with all this money in the bank, you can bet that clubs will hold out for more money.
We’ll thats unless we can find another Rangers2 with finances going south.
Now, if this is the case, we are looking for clubs with difficulties, and we are going to pick the bones. Is that the strategy, we identify said clubs? limit the number of players, and then pounce. Is this truly a strategy anyone would be happy with? Well, anyone except a guy that might be getting a bonus?
Still not sure this is good enough, or anywhere near world class.
There are only 2 windows per season, and we can’t afford to come out of any window lighter than when we entered it. That’s now 2 out of 4 windows while BR has been here. Not good, not good at all.
AULDHEID, the information you have been providing is brilliant, but do we think the standard and strategy are good enough ? That’s the question!
On the car sales scenario. I get what you’re saying, but we will still be in the same markets with all the other second-hand showrooms. And some of them don’t have Athur Daily running the show.
We should and need to be competent and transparent with the guys paying the wages. Even Shug in the record has said this today.
I think we all know that the only way to force change is to deny the board oxygen ( cash ), and the only way to do this is to boycott games.
The only way to do this is to mobilise the supporters, and this is the hardest part.
But I feel that picking a game in the 25/26 season ( Cup game obviously) one were ST have to pay, say first paying home game. ( watch the huns being pulled from the hat, and then you know the fix is in ) Might just have a chance if explained, and I’m sure the ones that don’t go would be called entitled.
As I said last night, it’s the board that is the entitled ones in all this. They don’t have to work for their money. Bringing in new clients/ customers is supposed to be the hardest thing in business. This club has been breed into most of us. So, no real effort is required.
In reality, it’s got no chance, none what so ever.
So, as they say, nothing will change. Ever.
BAD, that’s scary. Tell the bhoy we are rooting form him 👍
Stay safe, any news on corporate getting banned yet. Bloody drunken entitled rich yobs.
Plymouth beat Liverpool 1-0
Mon the mighty Queens park
Auldheid, thanks for getting back to me. As we have said before. Trust is the relevant word here pal.
And with dialogue trust can be earned.
Stay well Auld Bhoy👍
That was a great goal by Queens 😂
The odds on a “penalty to rangers” have plummeted
Come on Spiders, keep them out.
5 added minutes
Fucking cheatin cunt hun referee!
Disgraceful!
FFS, penalty to the Huns with seconds to go. Cheating bassas.
Should’ve put a bet on
And Tavpen misses!!!
var now checking for keeper coming off his line

And Tavpen misses!!!
Time for more cheating
Full time! Amazing backs to the wall last 15minutes, despite all the help the Hun Ref and VAR could muster they’re still too shite!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Queens Park beat the Huns despite the cheating ref’s best efforts. Boos round Ibrox.😂😂
Booooooooooooooo
Gubbed by an amateur team
He’s got to go!
it’s him or me, Sharon! 😂
Never a pen. Ref gave it right on 95 minutes. It was full time. Why did he allow two corners after it. Well done the spiders.
where’s their end of season party tonight?
Every bit as bad a result as us losing to caley thistle all those years ago but bet your bottom dollar it won’t be front page of the papers. Sweep sweep and all that!!
Rankers Caretaker manager Alex Rae
Is that the oldest club versus the newest club?
The wee man is going bonkers, I take it Villa have scored immediately 😂
🎵🎵Oh The Rangers are Shite Oh The Rangers are Shite 🎵🎵 🤣🤣🤣
BP,
Strangely enough I’m having a great day! 😉😁
How did that mob horse us at NY?
I’m strengthen my theory that losing 3 points to a team playing with more energy was necessary to preserve the illusion the SPFL is competitive.
Surely that myth has been shattered freeing Celtic to raise current standards higher without concerns for impact on the dawning reality the SPFL competitiveness starts from R2ngers down.
Oh my Days …that’s worse than the Berwick Rangers disaster… at least that was away from their home ….. Well done the Spiders 🕷️🕷️🕷️
Penalty decision was criminal in terms of damage to the integrity of our game.
Restoring that has to be a priority.
Another record for Tavpen’s collection.
Their first ever Scottish Cup victory at Ibrox.
Their first Scottish Cup victory over Rangers since 1882.
This is their biggest day in over a century.
While huns are in place that is a huge huge project .
BAD sorry, you trying to imply im a hun and not having a great day, shame on you sir😎😎😎😎❤
So much for ‘the struggle away, but are brilliant at home’😂
Missing the joke penalty makes it even funnier.
Of course, old PC will say that this is consistent with his comment yesterday that the league is not over. He is marshalling his limited squad brilliantly for so they can focus on their huge comeback in the league, and on the Europa, so that they can preserve Scottish football’s standing in Europe.
you lot are just too thick to realize that PC is a genius, and that this is all part of his master plan.
or it could be that the refs are all against them …
😂
On a serious note, it’s been obvious for a while now that the Huns are coached to stay down, or at least take every opportunity to make the most of a challenge. Looking at the QP goal again the diving cheatin wee fecker Diomande goes down at the front post looking for a foul, stays down until he realises he’s getting nothing and as the striker is getting his shot away Diomande is only getting to his feet. I’m not suggesting Diomande could have stopped the shot or the goal, he couldn’t have but that attitude is endemic in their squad and I think is a huge part of their problems.
At our game last night, Murray felt a push on the back and went down, far too easily, and no free kick was given. I said to the wee guy I was disappointed that Murray had gone to ground far too easily and better teams would punish you for expecting to get the free. It’s a facet of the game I’d like to see gone!
Well, well. What a shock that was at Ibrox. Plucky new club Sevco, lose to the 10 times winners of the Scottish Cup by only 1 goal. All supporters of the Ibrox club should be proud of their heroes tonight. Surely manager Clement’s job is now safe after such a wonderful show. Well done, my son.
Big Packy
Best wishes to Joan and your good self.
Hail Hail.
Auldheid at 5:48…

Don’t believe all the guff from the TV.
Rangers died in 2012 so only 2 of those “facts” are valid.
